Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Columbus, OH is seeking Rear Load Drivers Non-CDL to service customers, hauling waste and recycling to disposal sites along multiple routes. You will be responsible for safe, compliant operations and providing excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of commercial truck driving experience, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, valid DOT Medical Card, and a willingness to work nights and weekends with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to drive while pulling a trailer.
• Must be able to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services safely and efficiently.
• Enter/exit the truck multiple times per day.
• Move containers from enclosures or buildings as needed.
• Replace receptacles at curb or designated area.
• Clean up spills and maintain truck cleanliness.
• Maintain route and driver logs; perform pre/post inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers.
• Load bulk items as needed; operate other trucks as required.
