Job summary

Allegiant Air seeks a Controller for Station Operations Control and Recovery to manage real-time desk operations during the operational window. You will guide irregular operations from assessment to resolution, maintaining records and communicating with stations, vendors, and SOCR leadership.

The role requires strong English communication, a year of airline ops experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A fast-paced environment with 24/7 coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• Required: 1 year airline operations experience.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Executes real-time station coordination during the operational window.
• Manages all phases of irregular operations—from assessment to documentation.
• Acts as primary contact for stations during IROPs, delays, and cancellations.
• Coordinates customer recovery actions and vendor coordination.
• Maintains operational records, logs, and handoff notes for continuity.
• Escalates issues per the SOCR escalation chain and directs to the Supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with FAA, DOT, TSA directives and company policies.
