Job summary

CDN LOGISTICS INC. is seeking a Tracking & Tracing Coordinator in Northlake, IL to monitor shipments from pickup through delivery, ensuring timely updates and issue resolution. You will coordinate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams to maintain on-time performance and high customer satisfaction.

Shift options are 8 am - 6 pm or 9 am - 7 pm. The role offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities within a veteran-owned organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; degree in logistics a plus.
• Experience in shipment tracking or logistics coordination preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; TMS experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery with real-time visibility.
• Make proactive check calls to drivers and carriers.
• Provide updates to customers and internal teams.
• Handle inbound driver/customer calls and emails.
• Resolve shipment exceptions and coordinate corrective action.
• Communicate updates to relevant parties via phone, email, or messaging.
• Coordinate with Sales, Dispatch, Operations to handover details.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation.
• Set up new receivers, vendors, and locations in the TMS.
• Address detention and accessorial inquiries; assist with billing/claims.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.
• Look for process improvements to tracking tools.
• Stay current on transportation regs and best practices.
