Job summary

NewBridge on the Charles is seeking a per diem Security Dispatcher to operate from the Security Operations Center. This seated, non-patrol role emphasizes radio and phone communications, incident coordination, and monitoring CCTV and access control.

The position requires weekend availability (Friday–Sunday) with a minimum of one 8-hour shift per month; experience in healthcare or hospitality is preferred, and BLS/EMT certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare, residential, or hospitality settings is preferred.
• BLS, EMT, or First Responder certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong verbal communication and calm under pressure required.
• Proficient in typing and data entry; able to use dispatch software.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch Security Officers and staff in response to alarms, calls, and service needs.
• Serve as point of contact for emergency responders until arrival on campus.
• Monitor CCTV, intrusion alarms, access control, and emergency devices.
• Log resident check-ins and coordinate transportation movements with drivers.
• Maintain records of calls and incidents and support event coverage.
