Job summary

CAC I International Inc. is seeking a Real-Time Operations Controller to join a 24/7 team that monitors ground equipment and services within an automated planning system. The role covers shift work, fault handling, and service setup with a focus on rapid decision-making and cross-team collaboration.

You will lead daily turnover, document progress, and support system testing after upgrades while maintaining operational health. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of directly related experience.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to begin employment; higher poly may be required later.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (5am–5pm or 5pm–5am).
• Understanding of RF spectrums and their applications.
• Understanding of operating satellite infrastructure and satellite communication systems.
• Solid written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with crew members to execute daily procedures and maintain system health; respond to issues promptly.
• Lead daily turnover, update operations log, and ensure accuracy of entries.
• Support system testing after upgrades and during maintenance.
• Monitor system performance and determine corrective actions for events.
• Coordinate with other crew members to maintain health of the system; report discrepancies.
• Investigate and rectify procedural discrepancies; identify areas for process improvement.
• Coordinate with engineering subject matter experts to implement configuration changes.
• Certify in multiple operator positions; training provided prior to certification testing.
• Perform remote diagnostic monitoring of systems and support mission processing.
