Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a reliable Logistics Specialist in Loxley, AL to route‑monitor in real time and provide hourly status reports. You will handle order entry, routing, dispatching and traffic coordination while delivering strong customer service to drivers and receivers.

The role requires a proactive communicator with basic knowledge of the transportation industry, and the ability to write routine reports.

Qualifications

• Background Check and Drug Screen required.
• 1 year of logistics experience.
• General knowledge of transportation industry.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to follow written, verbal or diagram instructions.

Responsibilities

• Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken.
• Take calls from drivers to ensure loads deliver on time and verify data for accounting.
• Investigate product overages, shortages, damages and document findings.
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads and manage load direction.
• Provide detailed directions and instructions to properly route drivers.
