Job summary

zTrip is hiring a Fleet Dispatcher to coordinate daily dispatch activities, support drivers in the field, and help ensure passengers receive safe, efficient transportation services. You will be the primary link between drivers and management, handling trip details, route changes, and service updates with a focus on reliability.

The role emphasizes real-time problem solving, multitasking, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience in dispatching, fleet operations, transportation, logistics, scheduling, customer service or related field preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

Dispatch and assign trips to drivers to ensure efficient service and route coverage.
Monitor fleet activity in real time and make operational adjustments as needed.
Communicate trip assignments, schedule changes, and updates to drivers.
Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs while maintaining service standards.
Respond quickly to driver requests, service disruptions, and customer needs.
Monitor vehicle availability and support fleet utilization.
Coordinate with field personnel to resolve operational challenges and delays.
