Qualifications

• Experience building production software in C++ or Rust.
• Design, debugging, and optimizing native systems software.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, performance, and software design fundamentals.
• Comfortable collaborating across multiple layers of the software stack.

Responsibilities

• Build native software for real-time video streaming on Axon Body cameras and Fusus edge devices.
• Improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of native streaming services.
• Design native APIs and SDKs that enable seamless integration across edge, mobile, and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers across embedded software, cloud, and machine learning to deliver new streaming capabilities.
• Help shape the architecture and technical direction of Axon’s native streaming platform.
• Lead technical design discussions and mentor teammates through thoughtful code reviews.
