Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids offers an internship/co‑op focused on aerospace systems. You will build system configuration tables, enable end‑to‑end communication, and help configure field‑loadable software for civil‑certified aircraft, contributing to FAA audits.

You will learn DO-178B software certification artifacts and collaborate with system, electrical, and software engineers while pursuing a degree in Systems, Aerospace, or STEM majors and developing strong written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Systems or Aerospace Engineering, or STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.

Responsibilities

• Build system configuration tables, identifying inputs and tools from system requirements to enable end‑to‑end communication.
• Configure and build system field-loadable software for civil‑certified military aircraft and assist with FAA audits.
• Support engineers in producing and reviewing engineering documents for FAA audits.
