Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in STEM and enrolled through the internship/co-op program.
• Interest in embedded software and board-level device drivers.
• Experience with C, C++ and/or Python.
• Familiarity with RTOS and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience across all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Energetic, proactive self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Software Requirements, Design, Code, and Verification of the cockpit display system’s graphics server.
• Understand Collins Aerospace processes related to software development and verification and apply them to current projects.
• Work with desktop computer in an office environment and with target hardware in an engineering lab to deliver a high-quality software product on schedule and within cost constraints.
