Job summary

RTX in Massachusetts is seeking an Embedded Security Software Engineer for Secure Product Assurance. You will design, code, test, and integrate real-time embedded software for radar, sensors, and fire-control systems, collaborating across disciplines to meet strict DoD requirements.

This onsite role requires a STEM degree, C/C++, Python, real-time embedded experience, and strong problem-solving. You will participate in code reviews, support lifecycle phases, and help ensure software integrity

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM from an accredited institution by start date.
Experience with C/C++ and object-oriented programming.
Experience with Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages.
Real-time embedded software development experience.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Able to work in a team-based development environment with good communication.

Responsibilities

Design, code, integrate, and test real-time embedded software.
Participate in software peer reviews and technical decision-making.
Support SW/HW integration and requirements derivation across lifecycle phases.
Ensure software solutions meet technical, cost, schedule, and quality baselines.
Follow software development processes to maintain product integrity.
