Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Software-Systems Analyst to join the S3I/G-SIL team. You will plan, execute, and report on real-time test events and experiments, evaluating IAMD interfaces and MEIs while collaborating with hardware, software, and test professionals.

The role requires 5+ years in software analysis, strong communication of risks to leadership, and experience with Python and MATLAB. A DoD Secret clearance is required, with a focus on defense system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software analysis, simulation, systems integration, test, or related discipline.
• Ability to communicate technical findings and mission risks to senior leadership.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar scripting/analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate functional capabilities of Army IAMD family against requirements and ICDs.
• Conduct readiness and system-performance assessments of IBCS and integrated systems.
• Develop and execute test cases, provide technical direction for stimuli.
• Verify and validate simulation tools, post-processing, data analysis.
• Identify new tools/methodologies as testing evolves.
• Analyze integration of foreign software builds with sensors/weapons.
