Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Software-Systems Analyst to join the G-SIL team, supporting IBCS and related Army systems in live and virtual test environments. The role involves planning, executing, analyzing, and reporting on real-time test events with a multidisciplinary group of engineers and analysts.

The successful candidate will apply software analysis, simulation, and test-analysis expertise to assess performance, identify defects, and communicate findings to government leadership. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant military experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software analysis, simulation, systems integration, test, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience analyzing software or system test results.
• Ability to communicate technical findings and mission risks to senior leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate functional capabilities of IAMD family of systems against Agile features, user stories, requirements, and ICDs.
• Conduct readiness and system-performance assessments of IBCS and integrated Army radars, weapons, and uplinkers.
• Develop and execute test cases and provide direction for test stimuli preparation.
• Perform verification and validation of simulation tools and data analysis.
• Analyze integration of IBCS FMS software with foreign sensors and weapons.
• Independently analyze test data and reconcile discrepancies.
• Conduct operational test and fielding analyses for deployed IBCS units.
• Document defects and communicate issues in JIRA to teams.
• Develop technical analysis findings, presentations, and briefings for leadership.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering to resolve issues.
