Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Software-Systems Analyst to join the Systems Simulation, Software and Integration Directorate. The role focuses on evaluating IBCS and related Army defense systems, planning test events, and analyzing results in real-time test environments.

The candidate will develop test stimuli, validate simulation tools, and report findings to government leadership. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential, with required U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant military experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software analysis, simulation, systems integration, test, or related technical discipline.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the functional capabilities of the Army IAMD family of systems against Agile features, user stories, requirements and ICDs.
• Develop and execute test cases and provide technical direction for test stimuli preparation and evaluation.
• Perform verification and validation of simulation tools and post-processing of data logs.
• Identify and report software and system defects in JIRA and communicate significant issues to leadership.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, systems engineering and test personnel to resolve technical issues and ensure successful tests.
