Job summary

PeopleTec, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Mid-Level Test Engineer/Analyst to support missile defense system development, testing, and fielding. You will work in an AVMC laboratory with HWIL systems, tactical software/hardware, and digital representations of complex systems.

The role is on-site with duties including designing and maintaining analysis tools, performing complex analysis of test data, developing test cases, and communicating results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering, analysis, test, or systems engineering experience.
• Direct operational or test experience with IBCS.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis, data visualization, signal/data processing, and systems engineering using MATLAB or similar tools.
• Ability to identify and analyze technical problems and develop recommendations.
• Ability to develop technical reports and briefings for diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across projects; travel up to 10%.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain analysis tools for missile defense system performance assessment.
• Perform complex analysis of test data and algorithm behavior.
• Develop and maintain test cases for software and system integration.
• Support real-time HWIL testing with tactical software/hardware representations.
• Apply systems engineering concepts to analyze problems and propose solutions.
• Document and communicate test results through reports and briefings.
• Develop system requirements supporting required functionality.
• Support performance analysis, M&S, post-flight reconstruction, integration, and risk reduction.
• Prepare briefings for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Government customers, engineers, analysts, and test personnel across efforts.
