Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Weapons System Analyst in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on evaluating data from Live Firings, Ground Testing, simulations, and real-world events to produce system assessments for the Army’s Integrated Air and Missile Defense portfolio.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration abilities, with 3–5 years in defense operations and programming in MATLAB/C/C++/Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related STEM field plus 3-5 years of experience in Missile Defense System Analysis or related defense operations.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the Weapons System including its requirements and operations.
• Define metrics and analyze data to assess system performance.
• Provide direct support to the Warfighter by analyzing Real-World data and recommending performance improvements.
• Support test events (Live Firings, Ground Tests, Simulations) by defining requirements and analyzing performance.
• Prepare and present briefings to USG, Warfighters, and leadership.
• Review and track software changes and system requirements.
• May participate in developing technical proposals for new or existing opportunities.
