Job summary

The City of Roswell is seeking a Real-Time Crime Center (RTCC) Analyst to support its police department with advanced real-time intelligence and data analytics. You will monitor streams, coordinate with investigators, and deliver actionable insights for decision-making and resource deployment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years in crime or intelligence analysis, with flexibility for 24/7 shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field; 2–4 years in crime analysis, intelligence analysis, data analytics, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time information streams to maintain situational awareness during active incidents.
• Provide real-time intelligence updates, leads, suspect/vehicle information, and safety alerts to officers and investigators.
• Analyze crime data, calls for service, and GIS information to identify patterns and emerging issues.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, maps, charts, and reports communicating trends and activity.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional analytical projects with internal and external partners.
• Evaluate RTCC processes and data sources, and recommend improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Maintain accurate databases and documentation; stay current on analytics methods and best practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
