Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Public Administration, Data Analytics, or a closely related field.
• Five years of professional experience in crime or intelligence analysis, data analytics, statistics, research, or related field.
• Two years supervisory experience required.
• Must possess the Crime Intelligence Analysis Certification from the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the Crime & Intelligence Analysis Unit and Real Time Crime Center (RTCC).
• Supervise analysts and oversee performance evaluations and coaching as needed.
• Establish policies, procedures, and performance metrics for analytics to ensure quality and legal compliance.
• Direct workload distribution, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Oversee procurement, budget planning, and technology acquisitions.
• Serve as liaison between unit, command staff, and external agencies.
• Develop reports and strategic recommendations for executive leadership.
