Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer to develop multi-tier distributed applications for Security Enterprise Solutions. You will work with scientists and engineers on real-time instrumentation products using C++ and OOAD design.

Responsibilities include designing, coding, debugging, and optimizing C++ applications, and participating in the software development lifecycle. Bachelor's with 4-8 years or Master's with 2-6 years required; travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience or Master's with 2-6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of C++ and OOAD.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design solutions.
• Experience with TCP/UDP sockets.
• Experience with Linux and Qt programming (Qt 5+).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code using good OOP/OOAD techniques for distributed systems.
• Analyze customer issues, identify bottlenecks, bugs, and devise solutions; participate in software development processes.
• Occasional travel to customer sites may be required (domestic and international).
