Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems supporting critical mission needs. You will translate user requirements into software solutions, develop and modify software, integrate capabilities, and troubleshoot defects in Linux, Splunk, and data environments.

BS in CS or related field with 7+ years of software engineering experience; TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• Minimum seven years of Software Engineer experience on programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; four additional years of software engineering experience may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code software to add capabilities and modify existing systems.
• Develop data queries and interfaces for databases and data repositories.
• Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Document software and system designs and guide integration with mission systems.
