Qualifications

• Experienced commission-based salesperson with understanding that signing the client starts the transaction.
• Ability to research heirs, property owners, and lienholders using public records and databases.
• Strong closing and client-agreement skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact heirs, former property owners, and lienholders entitled to surplus funds from county property sales, foreclosures, and auctions.
• Research claimants, properties, and entities through public records, databases, and online tools to untangle the chain of entitlement.
• Build trust with skeptical strangers and close signed client agreements.
• Coordinate with title companies and attorneys, including court actions when needed.
• Manage each file from first contact through final collection — juggling multiple active matters at once.
