Kelley Drye & Warren LLP seeks an experienced real estate transactions attorney to lead nationwide deal-focused work, including acquisitions, joint ventures, leasing, and complex financings.

You will oversee due diligence, structure and negotiate documents, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to business development while managing multiple closings under tight deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Focus on deal-focused transactional work including sophisticated acquisitions, joint ventures, leasing, financings, and tax-structured transactions, particularly Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) platforms.
• Carry significant responsibility for client relationships and deal execution, working closely with practice partners.
• Structure, negotiate, document, and close acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate across various asset classes and jurisdictions nationwide.
• Structure and negotiate joint ventures, representing both sponsors and capital partners.
• Handle commercial leasing, sale-leaseback, and net lease transactions for landlords.
• Represent borrowers and other parties in a range of financings, including construction loans, mortgage and mezzanine financing, leasehold financing, and CTL financing.
• Oversee due diligence, including title, survey, and zoning, and manage closings and post-closing obligations.
• Supervise, train, and mentor associates and paralegals on transaction teams.
• Contribute to business development efforts and deepen client relationships.
• Experience must be gained at a nationally recognized law firm.
• Demonstrate ability to run deals independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple transactions under tight deadlines.
