Weichert is seeking a Settlement Officer for office-based roles in Morristown, NJ, with responsibilities including processing settlement orders, coordinating HUD-1/Closing Disclosures, and ensuring timely closings. The role acts as primary contact for clients and lenders throughout the closing process.

Ideal candidates have a year in title processing or paralegal experience, strong customer service, and proficiency with HUD docs and MS Office.

Competenze

• Minimum one year in title processing or real estate paralegal type role preferred.
• Good understanding of HUD-1/Closing Disclosures and endorsements.
• Knowledge of title binders and closing processes.

Mansioni

• Reviews and processes new settlement service orders and follows up to closing.
• Gathers information and documents from all parties prior to closing.
• Coordinates with lenders to prepare HUD information and closing packages.
• Maintains client communications and updates on transaction status.
• Manages scheduled closings and updates all parties involved.
• Provides daily support via phone and email to customers and team.
