Job summary

Investors Title Insurance Company’s The Title Center in Champaign, IL seeks a Settlement Officer to support settlement and loan processing for real estate closings. You will coordinate escrow files and ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong customer service throughout the transaction.

This in-office role offers direct involvement from start to finish, close collaboration with lenders and internal teams, and opportunities to improve processes while delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience in real estate loan closings or settlement operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process escrow and settlement files for timely closings.
• Communicate professionally with clients, lenders, and internal teams.
• Prepare loan packages and ensure compliance with settlement guidelines.
• Create and review settlement statements.
• Coordinate closing logistics and attend closings as needed.
• Handle disbursements and post-closing activities.
• Review reconciliation items and aging escrow files.
