Job summary

Lindmark Companies is seeking a real estate professional to grow the company’s leased and owned billboard portfolio. You will identify sites, negotiate leases, manage renewals, and coordinate with zoning officials across New Mexico.

Travel is required; expect a dynamic workload with permitting and acquisitions tasks. Required experience includes 1–3 years in commercial real estate or lease management, with a preference for a related bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required, plus 1–3 years in commercial real estate, site acquisition or lease management.
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business administration, or marketing preferred.

Description

Put your leasing or real estate experience to work in a different and exciting industry! Help our company grow one land lease at a time in New Mexico. This position handles all functions and activities necessary to maintain and grow the company’s real estate portfolio of leased and owned properties. Responsibilities include finding sites for new leases/billboard sign locations and maintaining existing leases while working with state and local agencies for zoning purposes. Travel across New Mexico is required. Salary based on experience + competitive bonus package, Health Insurance, 401(k), PTO.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma (or equivalent) is required, along with 1-3 years of commercial real estate, site acquisition or property/lease management experience.

A bachelor's degree in real estate, Business Administration, or Marketing is preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of commercial real estate (leasing, brokerage, site selection)
• Land acquisition or site development
• Property or lease management

Familiarity with

• Zoning laws & permitting
• Lease negotiation
• Government processes

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems
• Familiarity with internet browsers
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook
• Working knowledge of Google Earth
