You will partner with Property Managers and the accounting team to ensure accurate, timely financials for owners, lenders, and internal stakeholders. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance preferred.
• Property management accounting experience preferred.
• Multi-family accounting experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable for multi-family and mixed-use properties in AppFolio.
• Manage accounts receivable and resident ledgers; post rent and fees.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for operating and security deposits.
• Reconcile security deposit balances and move-out dispositions per lease terms and state law.
• Complete month-end close with journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly owner financial statements with variance explanations.
• Reconcile rent rolls to the general ledger and generate delinquency reports.
• Administer utility billbacks and allocate utility costs to residents.
• Support annual operating and capital budgets.
• Lead accounting onboarding for new properties in AppFolio; COA, bank setup, balances.
• Maintain organized, reviewable support documentation.
• Identify process improvements and maintain accounting policies.
