Job summary

Alpha Residential is seeking a highly detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our real estate finance team. You will ensure accurate financial records, prepare budgets, and provide insights to management across multiple properties.

Responsibilities include collaborating with asset and property managers, performing reconciliations, assisting audits and tax returns, and ensuring GAAP compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven experience in property accounting or real estate finance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience using Real Page is preferred but not required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or discrepancies.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and reporting requirements
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns for properties
