Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United States is seeking a seasoned project manager to lead individual real estate initiatives, accountable for delivering projects on time and on budget across planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout.

You will read agreements, leases and project charters, define scope, assemble resources, prepare costs and schedules, guide a small delivery team, and maintain governance and reporting to clients. PMP/LEED are preferred; a BA/BS is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in BA/BS/BEng/BArch or equivalent related experience.
• Prior project management experience preferred.
• PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of financial terms and ability to perform basic financial analysis.
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings; knowledge of leases, contracts and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Manages budget, schedule, procurement, quality and risk for real estate projects from planning through closeout.
• Reads and applies documents affecting real estate projects (agreements, leases, work letters, charters, surveys, drawings).
• Interfaces with clients to define project requirements; prepares scope, resources, cost estimates, budgets, and milestones.
• Identifies resources, conducts RFPs, and completes bid analysis; recommends resources to clients.
• Leads project delivery resources and provides guidance to achieve goals.
• Implements communication plans; runs meetings and prepares reports/minutes for clients and teams.
• Ensures governance and data integrity; coordinates project documentation and timing.
• Tracks progress; reports status, creates action plans to meet budgets and schedules.
• Implements change management; assesses changes and obtains client approvals; issues change orders.
• Manages 3rd party delivery resources; motivates and tracks performance.
