Job summary

Premier America Credit Union in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a Real Estate Loan Servicing Specialist to perform general servicing and accounting on residential real estate loans, including loans sold to investors.

Responsibilities include reconveyance processing, reporting for RE loan pools, HELOC draw stops, monthly rate changes, IRS 1098 processing, and collaboration with the Premier America team to ensure accurate loan administration.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Mortgage Loan Origination system, Fannie Mae system and CORE System.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Understanding of Mortgage Loan Processing and Basic Accounting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Process reconveyance on paid-off loans.
• Process reports for RE loan pools (Participation and Remittance).
• Process draw stops on HELOCs.
• Perform general servicing and accounting on residential real estate loans.
• Assist in processing monthly Rate and Payment Changes and related reports.
• Review File Maintenance reports and communicate discrepancies.
• Process bi-monthly Mortgage Insurance reports and ensure proof of insurance.
• Research member disputes or subpoenas for documents.
• Order and reconcile documents with FNMA/DMI and other partners.
• Prepare weekly reports for management and maintain liaison with Premier America team.
