Brookfield Asset Management’s Real Estate Group seeks a law clerk/paralegal to support its funds team in New York. You will manage entity databases, maintain legal documents, and assist with formations, qualifications, and dissolutions for US and select jurisdictions.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–3 years of experience in a law/real estate environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the corporate entity database and bi-annual ownership attestations.
• Maintain the legal document system and organize all legal documents.
• Assist with U.S. and other jurisdiction entity formations, state qualifications, and dissolutions as needed.
• Prepare tax forms (W-8s/W-9s) and assist with related filings.
• Assist with KYC requests and respond to information requests; support governance matters.
