Brookfield Asset Management LLC is seeking an experienced finance professional in New York to oversee fund accounting functions for its real estate group. The role focuses on GAAP-based financial reporting, coordination with external auditors, and management of fund operations and treasuries.

Responsibilities include supervising reporting processes, investor communications, and ensuring accuracy of quarterly and annual financials.

Formación

• 5-6 years of experience with a mix of public/private accounting.
• Fund accounting experience required; PE Real Estate experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP principles and financial reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP – Investment Company Accounting and IFRS.
• Assist with external audit and tax reporting processes with big 4 firms.
• Oversee the fund’s operations and credit facility maintenance.
• Oversee and manage third-party fund administrator.
• Ownership of the fund’s reporting and compliance processes, including GAAP quarterly financials, annual audited financials, tax, and LP/GP reporting.
