Job summary

Brookfield Real Estate Group is seeking an Investor Relations professional to coordinate quarterly investor reports, presentations, and fund updates from its Brookfield Place, New York office.

You will support existing investors, monitor fund activity, and assist with fundraising materials and inquiries, collaborating with the global investor relations team to ensure consistent messaging.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
  • 2–4 years in private funds investor relations, capital markets, investment banking or related field.
  • Real estate industry experience and fund structures preferred.
  • Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills with a collaborative style.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to deliver deliverables independently and meet deadlines.
  • Curiosity about real estate investing and private fund operations.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word; familiarity with AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own coordination and preparation of quarterly investor reports, investor presentations, investment case studies, ad hoc investor meeting materials and fund/transaction updates.
  • Provide ongoing support for existing investors, including monitoring and responding promptly to questions and requests, liaising with internal stakeholders and teams.
  • Remain current on activities within the fund, including acquisitions, dispositions, changes and performance metrics.
  • Support fundraising initiatives with marketing materials and responses to investor inquiries.
  • Assist senior members of the real estate business with content for annual investor meetings and events, board deck materials, and broader messaging initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the global investor relations team on cross-platform initiatives and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with special projects for senior members of the real estate business, including content for annual investor meetings and events, conference preparation, board deck materials, and broader real estate messaging initiatives
  • Collaborate with the broader global investor relations team on cross-platform initiatives and best practices
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field preferred
  • A minimum of 2–4 years of experience working in private funds investor relations, capital markets, investment banking or a related field
  • Preference for real estate industry experience and familiarity with fund structures
  • Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal) with a collaborative work style; keeps colleagues informed and builds strong cross-functional relationships
  • Creative prowess to translate complicated financial data into a simple story and compelling message for both external and internal stakeholders
  • Superior organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Willingness and capability to take ownership of deliverables and execute to completion by proactively leveraging available resources, tools and internal expertise
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about real estate investing and private fund operations
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proven ability to multitask, prioritize and manage competing demands under tight deadlines
  • Advanced working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word; proficiency with AI tools and emerging technology to drive efficiency and enhance deliverables such as Claude and Chat GPT

  • Salary Range: $110k - $140k
  • Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus).
  • Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive.
  • Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
