CoStar Group, a leading provider of real estate information and analytics, seeks Field Researchers to canvas commercial properties and capture tenant data across designated markets. You will document addresses, suite sizes, geolocation, and media while engaging building staff to obtain access to rosters and data.

The role emphasizes independence, attention to detail, and timely data entry, with support from a manager in Richmond, VA. Travel within the market is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years of professional experience.
• Strong time management and detail orientation; able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to accurately capture and enter data.
• Able to navigate large geographic areas independently.

Responsibilities

• Navigate grids to ensure complete data coverage of commercial real estate.
• Walk through buildings to document tenant data, addresses, suite sizes, geo-location, and media.
• Communicate with building staff to access tenant rosters and property data.
• Identify missing inventory and data gaps; report discrepancies.
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of collected information.
• Represent CoStar professionally at all times.
