Job summary

CoStar Group in the United States seeks Field Researchers to collect tenant data and building characteristics across commercial properties. You will walk through buildings, document tenant data, and coordinate with staff to gain access.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, at least 2 years’ experience, strong data capture skills, and a valid driver’s license. This role requires travel and driving across markets and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to accurately capture and enter data.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized over large geographic areas.
• Strong problem-solving skills; identify missing data and resolve discrepancies.
• Proficient with Windows, macOS, Office apps, and internet tools.
• Field experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Navigate one-mile square grids to ensure complete data coverage.
• Walk through buildings floor-by-floor to document tenant data and locations.
• Communicate with building staff to gain access to rosters and data.
• Identify new or missing inventory and other data gaps.
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of all collected information.
• Always represent CoStar in a professional manner.
