Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corp seeks a Counsel to support the Legal department in Brooklyn, NY. The role focuses on real estate transactions, contract drafting, and regulatory compliance, reporting to the General Counsel.

Ideal candidate has 1–4 years of private or public sector legal experience, and a JD with NYS Bar admission. Exempt, full-time position within a not-for-profit real estate development organization.

Competenze

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in NY (NY State Bar).
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory abilities.

Mansioni

• Draft, review, and negotiate leases, subleases, and real estate agreements for BNYDC and subsidiaries.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including construction and consulting agreements and procurement offerings.
• Collaborate with staff, outside counsel, and consultants on litigation matters.
