Selby Jennings partners with a real estate investment platform to identify a Closing Associate who will support complex debt and equity transactions across CRE. You will coordinate between investment professionals, counsel, consultants, and borrowers to ensure timely closings.

This role sits in major markets (NY, Dallas, LA) and requires a strong background in real estate finance, diligence, and closing economics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of CRE private equity, lending, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of debt and equity structures in CRE.
• Experience with diligence processes and third‑party coordination.
• Advanced Excel skills for budgets and closing economics.
• Excellent project management, organization, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full transaction closing process from term sheet to funding and post-closing.
• Coordinate due diligence including third‑party reports and analyses.
• Maintain timelines, diligence trackers, checklists, and internal reporting.
• Review documents to identify risks and drive resolution with stakeholders.
• Prepare and reconcile budgets, sources & uses, and closing statements.
• Coordinate funding mechanics, treasury functions, and post-closing deliverables.
