Job summary

Compeer Financial is seeking a Closing Coordinator to manage accurate processing, closing, funding and servicing of real estate transactions. You will verify descriptions, ownership, and access, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliant closings.

The role involves preparing settlement statements, disbursement agreements, and guiding clients through signatures, with hybrid work from Bloomington, IL.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Closing Agent License preferred or ability to obtain within twelve months.
• Notary Public license or ability to obtain within three months.

Responsibilities

• Process, close, fund and service transactions secured by real estate.
• Verify legal descriptions, ownership, and access for real estate collateral.
• Coordinate with departments and external parties to order title commitments and appraisals.
• Prepare settlement statements and disbursement agreements accurately.
• Explain forms to clients and obtain signatures; conduct on-site or remote closings as needed.
• Maintain accurate funding execution and data entry; file documents with government entities.
