Legacy Search Advisors is seeking an Assistant Controller in the Baltimore area who will own financial reporting and accounting oversight for two growing real estate business lines. You will work closely with the Director of Property Accounting, oversee the accounting team, and ensure GAAP compliance across multiple properties.

The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and the ability to scale accounting operations as the portfolio grows, with a strong foundation in public accounting

Formación

• Public accounting background at Audit Manager or Senior Manager level.
• GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Experience reviewing work, managing engagements, mentoring staff.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Real estate, partnership, REIT exposure a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Review monthly financial statements and reporting packages.
• Oversee accounting activities and guide staff.
• Partner with internal and external property teams.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and policies.
• Support reporting improvements for scale.
