Job summary

Related Companies is seeking an Assistant Controller to support accounting and financial reporting for its management companies, primarily RMC and RAM. Reporting to the Senior Controller, Corporate Accounting, this role will oversee key accounting processes, develop the accounting team, and participate in process and technology initiatives.

The position offers growth potential and the opportunity to broaden responsibility for the platform over time, with a base salary range and discretionary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA required.
• Six or more years of relevant accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience preferred; real estate or property management a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supervising accounting staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting for RMC, RAM, and related operations.
• Ensure transactions are recorded per GAAP and company policies.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and internal controls balance.
• Review monthly/quarterly results, journal entries, reconciliations.
