Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support our growing Accounting team and manage AP across our real estate portfolio. The role focuses on accurate invoice processing, vendor relationships, and compliance with internal controls.

The position offers in-office work in Radnor, PA with opportunities to contribute to month-end close, accruals, and property-level accounting. Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in AP and strong Excel and GL coding skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience, preferably in real estate or multi-entity environments.
• Experience with full accounts payable cycle.
• Experience handling high invoice volumes across entities or locations.
• Strong GL coding and expense allocation understanding.

Responsibilities

• Assist AP Manager with monitoring workflow, deadlines, and workload across the AP function.
• Ensure invoices are properly coded to the appropriate property, vendor, GL account, and amount in a timely manner.
• Review invoices for appropriate approvals and supporting documentation.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, duplicate invoices, missing approvals, and vendor issues.
• Monitor AP aging and assist with ensuring invoices are paid according to established payment terms.
• Backup to AP Manager for weekly check runs, ACH payments, wires, and other payment transactions as applicable.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and assist with vendor setup and changes.
• Respond to property teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding invoice and payment questions.
• Work closely with Property Managers and corporate accounting to resolve AP issues.
• Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable.
• Assist with accruals, prepaid expenses, reclasses, and other AP-related accounting entries.
• Research outstanding items and maintain clean property-level financial records.
• Serve as a key resource and backup to the Accounts Payable Manager.
