Job summary

Hunt Military Communities is seeking an Accountant to support the accounting function with journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly reporting. You will ensure GAAP compliance and prepare financial materials for internal and external partners.

Responsibilities include reviewing reconciliations, assisting in monthly close, coordinating with departments, and maintaining internal controls. A Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA or CPA-eligible is preferred, with at least one

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred.
• Minimum 1 year accounting experience required.
• Experience with Yardi, Workday or other ERP systems preferred.
• Experience in real estate industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze journal entries for GAAP and tax bases.
• Review and analyze general ledger accounts and reconciliations.
• Assist monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Support budgeting, variance analysis, and internal controls.
• Respond to auditor inquiries and maintain documentation.
