Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to support timely and accurate financial reporting and journal entry processing.

The role includes reviewing GAAP-compliant accounting, preparing budgets, and coordinating month-end close within the accounting team. You will assist with Accounts Payable tasks, vendor communications, and intercompany activities while ensuring internal controls and compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably corporate accounting and reporting.
• Experience with Workday or other large ERP systems preferred.
• CPA is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares, reviews, and analyzes financial statements with work papers and supporting schedules.
• Coordinates month-end closing and prepares complex journal entries.
• Maintains general ledger accounts and performs variance explanations.
• Supports Accounts Payable processes and vendor communications.
• Assists with audits and external requests as needed.
• Trains and assists with onboarding of AP tasks and back-ups for department tasks.
