Job summary

Knife River Corporation is seeking a Ready-Mix Dispatcher to coordinate daily dispatching operations and serve as the primary contact for customers at our Ready-Mix plants. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining quality, and ensuring efficient operations to meet service level and cost goals.

The typical schedule is Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–5:00 PM with Saturday as needed, requiring overtime flexibility in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of experience in customer service, dispatch, production, equipment operations, maintenance, quality control, or related field preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dispatching operations and serve as the primary contact for customers.
• Provide pricing information and process ready-mix concrete orders.
• Maintain order records and ensure delivery requirements are understood by customers.
• Schedule deliveries based on truck capacity, location, and unloading times.
• Communicate with Sales, Plant Managers and drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and attendance requirements.
