Job summary

Ampact is recruiting Reading Corps tutors to support students at local schools during the 2026-27 year. You will conduct 20-minute reading practice blocks, coordinate with onsite coaches, and log progress into data systems. The program emphasizes coaching, training, and community engagement.

Positions offer daytime school hours, weekday only schedules, and a biweekly stipend. Part-time options exist, plus extensive education benefits such as tuition assistance, student loan forbearance, and loan

Qualifications

Dependable with a history of good attendance.
Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
Proficient in basic computer skills (email, online navigation).
Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
18+ years old with a HS diploma or equivalent.
Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
Able to complete a background check successfully.

Responsibilities

Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
