Job Summary

The ReadingInterventionist plays a key role in providing focused, small-group reading instruction—particularly in explicit phonics—to support students who are below grade level in foundational literacy skills. The goal of this position is to help close achievement gaps and empower students to become capable, confident readers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide daily, research-based phonics instruction in small group and one-on-one settings.
• Use diagnostic assessments to determine student reading levels and pinpoint specific learning needs.
• Develop and implement structured literacy interventions tailored to individual student data, with the aim of bringing students up to grade level.
• Share student performance data with school teams and contribute to discussions regarding academic progress.
