Windsor Public Schools is seeking a reading intervention teacher at Sage Park Middle School to support literacy across disciplines. You will plan and deliver Tier II and III reading instruction, assess students, and monitor progress to raise achievement.
Collaborating with MTSS teams and classroom teachers, you will create data-driven plans, provide feedback, and support staff through professional learning and targeted small-group instruction to foster a love of reading and measurable growth.
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to serve as a reading intervention teacher to improve students' achievement in cross-curricular literacy.
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.
CT certification: 215 English, Middle School 6-8 or 015 English, 7-12 AND 102 Remedial Reading and Remedial Language Arts, 1-12
Terms of Employment: Salary and benefits in accordance with the negotiated agreement between the Windsor Board of Education and the Windsor Education Association.
