Job summary

Alpha is hiring across campuses to empower K-3 students with app-based core learning and targeted reading support. As a Reading Program Coordinator, you guide 4–9-year-olds through structured sessions, monitor progress with weekly data, and collaborate with campus staff to close reading gaps.

You will work on-site, five days a week, with relocation support and comprehensive benefits. A bachelor's degree and structured-literacy training are required, along with US work authorization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working directly with children ages 4-9
• 2 years of reading instruction in K-3 within last 5 years
• Structured-literacy training: LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson or similar; or master's in reading
• Bachelor's degree; teaching certificate not required
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Coaching students through app-based core learning.
• Running targeted structured-literacy sessions with two to four students.
• Leading morning launch, life-skills workshops, and check-chart activities.
• Driving students to their weekly app goals with school currency, leaderboards, and gamification.
• Staying with your students through lunch, recess, closing, and reading interventions.
