Job summary

KNAPP ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is seeking a Read ing and Math Tutor to directly intervene with students in grades K-6. The role reports to the School Principal and supports targeted interventions in reading and math.

The position is part-time and hourly, with immediate start availability. A Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field is preferred, with citizenship/residency/work authorization as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Experience delivering targeted small-group interventions is a plus.

Position Summary

Responsibilities

• Direct Student Intervention & Instruction
• Plan and deliver targeted, small-group Tier 2 interventions in foundational reading skills, reading comprehension, and mathematical concepts and fluency for students in grades K-6.
• Utilize a variety of research-based instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment that fosters student growth and confidence.
• Use diagnostic assessment data to inform the planning and delivery of intervention lessons.

Education & Certification:
