Job summary

KNAPP ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is seeking a Read ing and Math Tutor to directly intervene with students in grades K-6. The role reports to the School Principal and supports targeted interventions in reading and math.

The position is part-time and hourly, with immediate start availability. A Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field is preferred, with citizenship/residency/work authorization as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Experience delivering targeted small-group interventions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct Student Intervention & Instruction.
• Plan and deliver targeted, small-group Tier 2 interventions in reading and math for grades K-6.
• Use diverse instructional strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment that builds student confidence.
• Use diagnostic data to plan intervention lessons.
