Job summary

Holmes Care Group LTD is seeking a Credit Control Officer to help improve cash flow by ensuring prompt payments and accurate invoicing. You will work with finance to reduce aged debt and maintain precise records in our systems.

The role involves coordinating with admissions and discharge processes and resolving payment queries while posting receipts accurately. Experience in Sage and Coolcare is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control and cash collection preferred.
• Ability to manage invoices and payment postings.
• Familiarity with routine ledger reconciliations and ad hoc reports.

What does the day of a credit Control Officer look like?

The Sales and Credit Control Officer will assist in the efforts to improve cash flow and increase collections by ensuring payments are received promptly and efficiently.

• Reducing the aged debt through effective collection practices.
• Ensure that debt is collected in a timely manner to improve cash flow.
• Raise and send invoices.
• Code, query and auction remittance advices.
• Ensure admissions, amendment and discharges are completed on Coolcare, Sage and added to the relevant spreadsheets.
• Investigate and resolve queries relating to non-payment of invoices and additional email queries that are received.
• Ensure rates being charged are correct.
• Allocate receipts with invoices and/or credits and post receipts from bank statements.
